Representatives from Brandon Advertising and Public Relations, one of the leading golf, tourism and real estate agencies in the Southeast, today announced they have won a National Silver ADDY Award for a poster campaign designed for Citizens Against Spouse Abuse (CASA), a non-profit organization that offers aid to families in crisis in Horry and Georgetown Counties in South Carolina. Representatives from the Agency will receive the Silver ADDY Award at the national awards ceremony, Saturday, June 9 in Louisville, Ky.
The CASA “It’s No Longer Your life” poster campaign began in October 2006, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and encourages women in an abusive or controlling relationship to seek help. Since 2006, Brandon Advertising and Public Relations has worked with CASA to promote their mission to educate the community about the serious and costly nature of domestic violence, and to provide emergency safe shelter, counseling and support for abused women and children.
“Winning a National ADDY award is a big deal for our Agency,” said Scott Brandon, president of Brandon Advertising and Public Relations. “Over the past several years, we have dominated the local and regional ADDY awards, but we have failed to crack into the national awards. I think this award is indicative of the quality of our work and I am glad the award is for our work with CASA which I think was both great, smart work and also a positive contribution to our community.”
